Liz had a long management career with a fortune 100 company before joining us at the Budokan. In her past life she successfully managed many teams and work groups under her leadership with responsibilities that included project management, process management, chief of staff and operations manager. In 2011 she left corporate life to become our full-time business manager for the dojo where she is a perfect fit for the job.

Liz wears a variety of ‘black’ hats throughout the day and is a valuable asset to both students and instructors. She gets the most satisfaction from ensuring students, their families, and our staff receive the best all-around experience at the Budokan.

Liz has been practicing Tai Chi under Sifu Joe since 1996. She also studied Reiki and is Third Level Reiki certified.

Liz is currently a board member of Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley.
